How I use AI in my design workflow
I use AI as a design thinking partner, not as the starting point of my design process. I first study the user journey myself, identify gaps and opportunities, and form my own understanding of the problem. Then I bring that thinking to AI, ask it to explore the journey and come up with ideas, and challenge those ideas to see what holds up. I shortlist the ideas, guide AI in the direction I want to explore, and use it to gather information when I need it while making design decisions.
Once I have a concept that I feel is worth testing, I use tools like Lovable or Cursor to quickly wirecode a working prototype and test it with real users. This helps me move from an idea to something people can actually interact with much faster. After testing and refining the concept, I bring the final direction into Figma and work on the connected product experience.
I don't ask AI to think for me. I direct it to think with me.

I’m curious about people and how they use technology. I often find myself wondering why people behave differently in the same situation, why some experiences feel effortless while others feel frustrating, and what makes us choose one thing over another.
I enjoy reading about psychology, exploring ideas that help me understand the world a little better, and listening to music whenever I need to get my mind in the right place. That curiosity and a happy mind often lead me to my best ideas.
